Carving out some creative time, whilst staying at home, to spend some time with Shakespeare’s sonnets.
The tiny, red hardback, well-thumbed book of sonnets that I carried around in my bag for many years now has a peeling spine, curling pages and ragged-edged loose leaves. This faithful friend has therefore been allowed to rest in perpetuity on the bookshelf, for preservation purposes.
Being more stationary now, neither “tiny” nor “hardback” were pre-requisites of the new investment.
The result; a weighty tome, with poems too!
Can’t wait to get stuck in ????
